This all provides for a very comfortable and fully equipped self catering guesthouse."Tierhuiskloof" guest lodge, rebuilt on ruins of the first dwelling place and suitably referred to as "Ouplaas" provides exceptional luxury and comfort from self-generating wind- and solar energy. The magnificent views of the Touws- , Lange- and Klein Swartberge and Towerkop are nowhere else to be found but from the "stoep" of this elevated mountain lodge. Meticulous care was taken to protect the eco-environment and yet provide for extraordinary accommodation comfort.
Camping at you leisure on your own identified camp spot has become a popular request. This provides for the more adventurous exploration spirit.
Self-catering enhances the intended quietness, privacy and original atmosphere of days gone by. B&B and selected traditional farm meals are however available on request and by prior arrangement.
